Furniture Recycling
This scheme collects quality reusable items from the public that would otherwise be sent to landfill and makes them available to low-income Torfaen citizens at affordable prices.
Every month, tonnes of recyclable furniture is saved, helping to assist dozens of households to obtain furniture that they may otherwise be unable to afford.
Recycle IT
The recycle IT scheme provides affordable PC equipment to numerous groups and individuals and is supported by ICT Training Support and Advice within Torfaen.
Donations are received from the general public and statutory, private and voluntary sector organisations. The equipment is then repaired and upgraded if necessary. This scheme is able to provide PC equipment to schools, charitable organisations, such as Eastern Valley Housing and members of the public at affordable prices.
